چکیده
Polymer membranes used in separation applications exhibit a tradeoff between permeability and selectivity. That is, that are highly permeable tend to have low selectivity vice versa. For ion-exchange such as electrodialysis reverse electrodialysis, this is expressed terms of membrane permselectivity (i.e., ability selectively permeate counter-ions over co-ions) ionic conductivity transport ions the presence an electric field). The use illustrate counter-ion throughput counter-ion/co-ion complicates analysis since depends on properties external solution all mobile within membrane. Furthermore, these parameters restricts which required. In study, permselectivity-conductivity relation for reformulated ion concentrations diffusion coefficients framework enables direct comparison general. generalizability demonstrated cation-exchange vanadium redox flow batteries.

Reformulating the Quantum Uncertainty Relation
Uncertainty principle is one of the cornerstones of quantum theory. In the literature, there are two types of uncertainty relations, the operator form concerning the variances of physical observables and the entropy form related to entropic quantities. Both these forms are inequalities involving pairwise observables, and are found to be nontrivial to incorporate multiple observables. In this wo...
متن کاملReformulating God 1 Running head: REFORMULATING GOD THE MOTHER Reformulating God the Mother: Mutual Recognition, the Divine and Therapeutic Applications
Feminine language for God has been largely absent within Christianity. However, a focus on feminine aspects of the divine can help Christians reclaim characteristics of God that get lost in a religion where language of God the Father is pervasive. This paper addresses the use of Mother as a metaphor for God and its implications for a therapeutic context. The current conversation around parental...

This paper discusses reformulations of the problem of coloring plane maps with four colors. We include discussion of the Eliahou-Kryuchkov conjecture, the Penrose formula, the vector cross product formulation and the reformulations in terms of formations and factorizations due to G. Spencer-Brown.

متن کاملReformulating Global Grammar Constraints
An attractive mechanism to specify global constraints in rostering and other domains is via formal languages. For instance, the REGULAR and GRAMMAR constraints specify constraints in terms of the languages accepted by an automaton and a context-free grammar respectively. Taking advantage of the fixed length of the constraint, we give an algorithm to transform a context-free grammar into an auto...
